Shirley Whitaker, founder and owner of Re.Create Interiors, began her interior design career in 1984.  Certified as a professional interior designer, Shirley provides 24 years experience, while continuing her education and training through seminars, trade shows, and continuing education programs.

Shirley is an Allied Member of The America Society of Interior Designers (ASID).  This involves passing rigorous acceptance standards, having a combination of accredited design education and/or full-time work experience, and passing a two-day accreditation examination administered by the National Council of Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ).

Re.Create Interiors began in 1994 with a dream, and has since flourished into an ever-growing company with hundreds of joyful clients.  Well known for both classical residential design projects, as well as commercial projects including banks, hotels, and corporate offices.
